Translation and multilingual SEO
Translate the whole site in a visual editor, with 5,000 free AI translation words and multilingual SEO included free: translated URLs, slugs, meta and hreflang.
Coming to WordPress.orgClearyvo Translate translates your WordPress website on the front end – pages, posts, menus, widgets, page builder content, WooCommerce pages and SEO tags – with a visual translation editor and a language switcher. Translations are stored separately and applied to the page output, so you keep one page to edit.

- Visual editor: click a text on the real page and type the translation; sentences with links and bold words stay one string
- Strings list with search, an "untranslated only" filter and separate filters for SEO strings, page text and image ALT text
- 5,000 free automatic translation words with Clearyvo Translate AI (no API key, no card), or your own Google Cloud Translation key without a word limit
- Language URLs (example.com/de/) and translated URL slugs, with a 301 redirect to the translated address
- Translated SEO title, meta description, Open Graph and X tags and image ALT text, with Clearyvo SEO, Yoast SEO, Rank Math, SEOPress, AIOSEO or any theme
- hreflang and x-default tags, localized canonical, og:locale and html lang, and translated URLs in the WordPress, Yoast SEO and Rank Math sitemaps
- Language switcher with flags, names or codes: floating in a corner, as a dropdown or a list, or with a shortcode
- WooCommerce product, cart, checkout and account pages translated from the page output; page caches keep each language apart
The free version translates into 1 language; manual translation is unlimited.
Multilingual SEO Is Included Free
Translated URL slugs, translated SEO titles and meta descriptions, hreflang and x-default tags, a localized canonical and the translated addresses in the sitemap are part of the free plugin, not a paid add-on. They are what lets a translated page rank in its own language. The step-by-step guide: How to translate a WordPress site (and rank in every language).
Automatic Translation
Automatic translation is optional, and nothing is sent anywhere until you turn it on. Click “Activate 5,000 free words” in the settings to use Clearyvo Translate AI without an API key, or enter your own Google Cloud Translation key, billed by Google to your account. The texts are translated as a first draft; you fine-tune them in the visual editor. Manual translation is always unlimited.
With Clearyvo Translate Pro
- All 30 translation languages
- Yearly Clearyvo Translate AI words, shared by the sites of the licence: Pro 50,000 (1 site), Plus 100,000 (3 sites), Business 200,000 (5 sites), Agency 500,000 (25 sites)
- Your own DeepL API key: automatic translation without a word limit, billed by DeepL to your account
- WooCommerce: mini cart and checkout fragments, block cart and checkout, the order language and customer e-mails in the order language
