Privacy Audit – Cookie and Third-Party Checker for WordPress
Privacy
Every third party your pages contact before the visitor agrees.
Loads your pages like a first-time visitor who has not accepted cookies and lists every external service the browser would contact, with the plugin or setting that adds it, and the cookies the site sets.
Free
- Google Fonts, analytics and tag managers, YouTube, maps, CDNs, Gravatar and social embeds, by name
- Fonts hidden inside theme and plugin stylesheets
- Cookies the server sets on the first visit, with their flags; the cookies each service sets
- Consent tools, also banner services, and Google Consent Mode
- The privacy policy page: set, published, linked
- Quick fixes: disable emoji, remove Google Fonts, YouTube privacy-enhanced mode
Free in full: Clearyvo Pro adds nothing to this checker.
Good to Know
- Requests that JavaScript adds later (for example through Tag Manager) need a check in the browser's developer tools.
- A technical aid, not legal advice.
Where to Get It
Available two ways: as the separate plugin Privacy Audit, or as a module of the Site Toolkit plugin. They share settings and results.
WordPress 6.2, PHP 7.4. English interface.
How to Check What Your WordPress Site Loads Before Consent
- Install the free Clearyvo Privacy Audit plugin (WordPress.org or the Download page), or Site Toolkit and switch on Privacy Audit under Site Toolkit → Modules.
- Open Privacy Audit in the WordPress admin (under Site Toolkit when you use more than one checker) and run the check. It works in short steps, so it finishes on shared hosting and large sites too.
- Read the report. Nothing on the site changes until you tick an item and confirm.
